WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall remains possible.
WHERE...Portions of southeast New Mexico, including the following area, Southern Lea and Texas, including the following areas, Andrews, Borden, Central Brewster, Chinati Mountains, Chisos Basin, Crane, Davis Mountains, Davis Mountains Foothills, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Loving, Lower Brewster County, Marfa Plateau, Martin, Midland, Mitchell, Pecos, Presidio Valley, Reagan, Reeves County Plains, Scurry, Terrell, Upton, Ward and Winkler.
WHEN...Through this afternoon.
IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in significant flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop this through the day and evening over the Permian Basin, Trans Pecos, Davis Mountains, Marfa Plateau and Big Bend region as an upper level low slowly moves westward over the region. Localized rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches with isolated amounts over 4 inches will be possible with the heaviest showers and thunderstorms that develop. Heavy rainfall over a short period of time may result in flash flooding.
What to do: You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Flood Watch issued July 16 at 8:32PM MDT until July 17 at 5:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM
WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following area, South Central Mountains.
WHEN...From Friday morning through Friday afternoon.
IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall will develop over the Sacramento and Capitan Mountains by late Friday morning. This activity is likely to move southwest across the Ruidoso area Friday afternoon with rainfall amounts up to 1 to 1.5 inches possible. There is a moderate risk of flash flooding on area burn scars through late Friday afternoon.
