How We Choose Products

Our filter recommendations follow this process:

  1. Identify contaminants in your water system using EPA data
  2. Match NSF-certified filter technologies that address those specific contaminants
  3. List specific products from brands that carry the required NSF certifications

Products with affiliate links are not ranked higher or recommended more frequently than products without affiliate links. If we don't have an affiliate relationship with a highly-rated product, we still recommend it.
