Areas affected: Central Siskiyou County Including Shasta Valley; Siskiyou County from the Cascade Mountains East and South to Mt Shasta
Red Flag Warning issued July 17 at 1:44AM PDT until July 17 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Medford OR
The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 8 PM PDT this evening.
AFFECTED AREA...In CAZ281...the eastern half of Fire weather zone 281, from around Interstate 5 eastward. In CAZ284...all except for southern portions of fire weather zone 284.
WIND...South to southwest 12 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph, except south 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 35 mph in the southern Shasta Valley from Weed to Grenada.
HUMIDITY...7 to 12 percent.
