IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Scattered to numerous showers and storms are expected to develop by the late afternoon and evening today. A very moist air mass and slow storm motions will support a risk for heavy rainfall and flash flooding, particularly in urban, poor drainage, and flood prone locations. Localized totals in excess of 3-4" will be possible.
What to do: You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
