At 2:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 34.8 feet.
Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 AM CDT Sunday was 34.8 feet.
Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.2 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 35.9 feet on 04/08/2023.

WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
WHERE...Devils River at Pafford Crossing nr Comstock.
WHEN...Until late tonight.
IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, (2.4 meters), Moderate flooding covers several hundred yards of the flood plain. Campers, automobiles and equipment can be washed downstream below Juno to Amistad Reservoir. Livestock should be moved from flood prone areas of the flood plain.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
At 1:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 7.9 feet.
Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:15 AM CDT Sunday was 11.0 feet.
Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this afternoon and continue falling to 2.7 feet early Friday morning.
Flood stage is 5.0 feet.

WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
WHERE...Devils River at Bakers Crossing 19N Of Comstock.
WHEN...Until Tuesday morning.
IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, (3.7 meters), Campers, automobiles and equipment near the river above Juno to Amistad Reservoir can be washed downstream. The river is very turbulent at this level and dangerous for inexperienced swimmers, canoeists and kayakers. Five feet of flow covers the Highway 163 bridge below Juno.

At 1:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.6 feet.
Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:15 AM CDT Sunday was 20.3 feet.
Forecast...The river will fall to 7.3 feet this evening. It will then rise to 7.4 feet this evening. It will fall below flood stage tomorrow evening to 4.0 feet Thursday afternoon. It will then rise to 4.1 feet Thursday afternoon. It will fall to 3.9 feet late Thursday evening then rise again.
Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.9 feet on 05/07/2007.

WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record.
WHERE...Nueces River near Asherton.
WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon.
IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, The Nueces River and Turkey Creek are a mile and a half wide south and west of Crystal City. Farm to Market 190 is flooded over a mile near the Nueces River and the bridge floor is flooded. Livestock should be moved from the flood plain. Upstream, Highway 85 becomes impassable as routed water spills into Soldier Slough and over the highway.

At 1:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 31.5 feet.

Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet (2.1 meters).

IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, or 9.1 meters, major lowland flooding occurs. Water is several feet deep over most of the mall and customs parking lots. The lowest residences are threatened and roads and low bridges become very dangerous.

At 7:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 25.6 feet (7.8 meters).
Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet (4.9 meters).
Forecast...The river will rise to 31.7 feet (9.7 meters) tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening to 8.3 feet (2.5 meters) and begin rising again Wednesday morning. It will rise to 8.4 feet (2.6 meters) early Wednesday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.

WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to late Tuesday night.
IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs, with water in the lowest areas of Goliad State Park. Livestock below Goliad to the Guadalupe River confluence are cut off and potentially drown.

At 7:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.7 feet.
Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.

WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.
WHERE...Frio River at Tilden.
WHEN...From Monday morning until further notice.
IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Major flooding occurs. Numerous residences and businesses flood in Tilden, requiring persons vulnerable to flooding to be evacuated. Lowland flooding of crops and pastureland traps and potentially drowns livestock. Most roads near the river are flooded and dangerous. Water reaches the parking lot and doors of the cafe.

At 7:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 0.9 feet.
Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Monday morning and continue rising to a crest of 27.8 feet early Wednesday morning.

WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
WHERE...Frio River near Derby.
WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.
IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Major flooding reaches lowest homes and businesses downstream in Tilden. Hundreds of livestock are trapped and potentially drowned in low areas of the flood plain near Derby to Choke Canyon Reservoir. Major flooding of crop and pasture land near the river inundates oil well pump jacks and irrigation pumps.

At 3:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 20.1 feet.
Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:30 PM CDT Saturday was 20.5 feet.
