WHAT...Temperatures up to 103 expected.
WHERE...Treasure Valley, Upper Weiser River, and Malheur County.
WHEN...From noon MDT /11 AM PDT/ to 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ Monday.
IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses, especially for the young, elderly, and animals.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Warm overnight temperatures will limit recovery.
Qué hacer: Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory until noon PDT Monday.
For the Smoke Air Quality Advisory, wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels.
Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung condition.

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Pollution Advisory...in effect until noon PDT Monday.
Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels.
Smoke levels can change rapidly depending on the weather. People at risk include infants and young children, people with heart or lung disease, older adults and pregnant people.
People can take the following precautions to protect their health:
- Follow local burn restrictions to prevent deteriorating air quality.
- Avoid strenuous outdoor activity during periods of poor air quality.
- People with heart or lung problems and young children are especially vulnerable. These people should stay indoors while smoke levels are high.
- Use certified High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters in indoor heating, ventilation, cooling and air purification systems.
- Avoid using wood-burning stoves and other sources of indoor smoke if possible.

WHERE...Baker County and northern Harney County.
WHEN...UNTIL NOON PDT MONDAY.
IMPACTS...Smoke can irritate the eyes, lungs and worsen some medical conditions. People most at risk to adverse health effects include infants, young children, people with heart or lung disease, older adults, and pregnant women.
