- WHAT...Heat index values up to 107 expected.

• WHERE...In Arkansas, Southern Crawford, Central and Southern Franklin, and North and Central Sebastian Counties. In Oklahoma, Mayes, Nowata, Rogers, Southeast Osage, Tulsa, Wagoner, and Washington OK Counties.

• WHEN...From noon to 8 PM CDT Monday.

• IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are possible especially impacting those not acclimated to the conditions or those performing strenuous activities.

Qué hacer: Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
